Loops, Hoops, and Bloops: Simple Statement Earrings – 10AM - 1PM

In this short, 3-hour workshop, learn basic metalsmithing techniques such cutting, forming, soldering, and then texture your custom statement earrings made from copper, brass, or sterling silver. You can also make a simple pair of forged silver hoops, and your own ear-wires! This is a quick workshop that will give you an introduction to the world of jewelry making. Leave with at least 1 pair of hand-made custom earrings and the skills to keep making them!
Decorative Stacking Rings – 10am - 1PM

You've taken Simple Stacking Rings before. You loved it and want more. Here's the class for you! Jump into creating decorative stacking rings using twisted wire of different metals, set a small gemstone, learn new texturing techniques in this two session class. Plus you'll have time to come to open studio during the week to work on more. You’ll leave with a number of rings by the end of the class! These make great holiday gifts too so get ring sizes from your people! Prerequisite - Simple Stacking Rings. Please note - you must have this prerequisite or you will not know how to proceed.

Taken our casting class in the past? Anticipating our upcoming casting classes and want to get a head start? This three session class will allow you to create waxes ready for our More Casting class enabling you to focus on the actual casting processes. With guidance from your instructor, work with carvable wax, sheet and wire wax, and learn about multiple spruing processes to cast more than one piece at a time. Prerequisite: Lost Wax Casting 1.
